A Georgian shagreen and silver mounted case containing various accoutrements. Including a nutmeg grater, knife and fork, fountain pen, tweezers, aid memoir, etc and with a hinged compartment below revealing a bloodstone seal, ink well and pounce pot. With a silver cartouche inscribed the gift of his father 1840. The aid memoire inside inked with the inscription; This case formerly belonged to the Duke of Gordon, 11.5cm. Spoon length 8.25cm.
