A fine pair of Rockingham dessert plates with wide primrose leaf moulded borders and painted by Edwin Steele. With gilt rims, gold ground and each superbly enamelled with a basket of flowers upon a marble slab. Red printed griffin marks and impressed B c.1826-30, 24.5cm wide.
