An Imperial Japanese early WWII Type 95 NCO's Shin Gunto sword, polished aluminium hilt, the blade numbered 77088 with a matched number on the metal scabbard. The copper fuchi bears the sword's maker stamps "LiJima, Tokyo First Arsenal, Kokura Arsenal". Length 92cm includes hilt, blade length 70cm.
