With metal urn shaped finial and ornamented in relief with panels of Corinthian columns divided with arched windows over balustrades. A Chinese carved jade censer raised on a pierced and carved hardwood plinth. With domed cover surmounted by a coiled mythical beast and three ram masks, the main body has a pair of dragon mask handles supporting separately carved rings and is raised on three slender supports, jade 15.5cm.

An early twentieth century triple weight musical longcase clock by Curtis & Horspool, Leicester. In carved mahogany case with swan neck pediment, brass mounts and with fluted quarter columns. Housing an eight day movement quarter striking on eight bells and five gongs with Westminster and Whittington chimes. With gilded brass arch top dial having blind fret mask, silvered chapters, Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, chime / silent, strike / silent & Westminster / Whittington mechanisms. 250cm high.

A fine pair of Victorian Royal Worcester baluster shaped urns on plinths. With scrolling twin handles adorned with moulded husk swags, ground in salmon pink, with tooled gilding and each enamelled with a cartouche in the manner of Landseer one with a stag, doe and rabbit and the other with a fallen stag, a fox and an eagle. Printed and impressed marks 1872, 44.5cm.

An eighteenth century Scottish basket hilted broadsword. With a seventeenth century double edged blade engraved with scrolls. The basket formed from scrolling iron bars is ornamented with pierced panels having shagreen grip with gilt wirework. Blade length 80cm.

A London decorated Chinese teabowl.
An interesting eighteenth century London decorated Chinese teabowl and saucer. With bands of trailing flowers framing pencilled grisaille armorials of a castle and anchor and inscribed Stockton Arms. These devices are both incorporated in the Stockton on Tees armorial and the castle is thought to depict that of Stockton Castle demolished 1652, saucer diameter 12.25cm diameter.

Ground in bleu celeste, with tooled gilt cartouches and finely painted on one example with fancy birds and the other with putti and musical instruments.
